When it comes to teaching and learning,
One thing that's key is behaviour-managing.
To keep things calm and free from strife,
Here are some practical tips for an easier life.
Managing learner behaviour can be quite a task,
But with practical approaches, it's a challenge we can outlast.
First, build relationships, get to know your learners well,
Show them that you care, and their behaviour will excel.
Next, establish clear expectations, rules, and routine,
Make sure they understand, that should an issue arise, you will intervene.
Then, reinforce positive behaviour, praise them when they do right,
And when there are mistakes, use feedback that is polite.
Fourth, use consequences that are meaningful, fair, and just,
And involve learners in finding solutions, so they can develop trust.
Last, model good behaviour, and lead by example every day,
Your students will follow suit, and it will go a long way.
With these approaches in mind, you can create a safe space,
Where learners can thrive, and their potential is embraced.
In managing behaviour, these tips will do,
Creating a positive learning space for me and you.
With consistency and care, and a bit of rhyme,
We can create a classroom that's sublime.
