Communication is key to creating a positive learning environment in the classroom. As a teacher, it is important to use effective communication strategies to ensure that your students understand the material and are engaged in the learning process. 

Here’s a self-assessment questionnaire designed to help you evaluate and enhance your communication effectiveness in the classroom. By assessing your current communication strategies, you can identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth, ultimately fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for your students.

Instructions:

  • For each communication strategy listed, assess your current practice by selecting the rating that best represents your behaviour and approach.
  • Choose one rating (1, 2, or 3) for each strategy.
